NAMI Carroll County Is Now Offering Online Family Support Groups!

NAMI Carroll County is offering online support group meetings, four times a month. The first, second, third and fourth Tuesday of the month from 6:45pm to 8:15pm. Meetings will be held via Zoom video call.

Registration is required to participate in each meeting. Space is limited to ensure participants can be heard, and receive needed support. Registered attendees will receive a link to join the Zoom call 24 hours in advance.

NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances.

NAMI’s support groups are unique because they follow a structured model, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to be heard and get what they need. It encourages empathy, productive discussion and a sense of community.

These informal support group meetings are always free of charge and are led by a NAMI trained and certified leader. All groups are confidential—you can share as much or as little personal information as you wish.

NAMI Carroll County Family Support Groups are for individuals 18 years or older. The information and insight provided by group leaders and participants do not represent therapeutic recommendations and are not meant to be a substitute for the advice provided by a mental health provider or other qualified healthcare professional.
